Hi Jo

To be honest I'm not sure if you can. I think you will need to wait until your period comes to begin. I had my 2nd FET when my son was the same age and I was very reluctant to stop feeding however my period returned when fully breastfeeding at 4 months. I felt so strongly about breastfeeding I was getting myself upset and asked my dr if I could continue to feed during the cycle (a medicated one) and she agreed and I got pregnant again first time while breastfeeding so I was very lucky. I was 42 when that happened. Its a tough one but I do think you would have to have your period in order to start so just check with your Dr. Good luck. Sam

Hi
I have one DD and hope to use our frosties at some stage soon. When I talked to my clinic about it they said that i would need to have stopped BF for at least 2 months before they would let me try again. (I have heard other people say 6 months) The reasoning they gave me was that BF produces a hormone which MAY be prolactin (I can not remember) and that can stop you getting pregnant so they like it to have gone before they try so as not to have anything that might make it not work. (Does that make semse?) . They also said I would need to have my periods back as I would start the process at some point in the cycle...anyway,as a result we are only thinking about it now as my DD was BF until 2 months ago!
