I would like to take the opportunity this evening to write you a quick message to see how you are and to say that i am fine thank you.
My husband and myself have been trying to concieve for nearly five years now without any sucess. We have both been diagnosed with different problems such as low sperm count, Pcos and underactive thryiod.
My periods are also a main concern because at the moment they aren't regular enough to be able to tell when i might be fertile each month etc.
I have tried using different methods and techniques to become pregnant such as taking your temp in the morning and using a Boots Fertility Monitor but nothing seems to work for me.
We have been told by our local doctors surgery that with the problems which we both have, Ivf is our only option if we would like to concieve, but the waiting lists for the Nhs treatment are quite long.
My husband and myself are now considering our options such as having Ivf privately or going down the adoption route.
I was just wondering whether someone would be kind enough to let me know what adoption is like ?
Do the biological parents have to be in the childs life once you have adopted the child etc ?
