I had my 6 week scan yesterday to be told that we are expecting twins it was amazing when we saw both heartbeats and heard them too - I'm so excited!!!
Just wondered if anyone else would like to share this amazing journey!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I noticed no-one has replied yet so thought I'd jump on board. I'm also expecting twins (both girls) but I'm nearly at the end of my rollercoaster journey as I'm 32 weeks today :o)
I still remember the excitement of finding out we had two & I'm also still amazed everytime I see them at the scan or when I hear their heartbeats with the midwife. It really is the most amazing feeling in the world to finally be pregnant & any symptoms are forgotten about as soon as I feel a little wriggle.
I'd love to hear how you get on so keep me posted on your progress. Take care
I couldnt believe it when they said you have twins it was amazing that both embryos implanted!!!! Wow your 32 weeks how have you been feeling and do you know what type of birth you've got to have?? I was told if both are facing the right way then I might have to have a normal birth omg!!! or have you got to have a cesarean just wondered??? So happy for you.
Hey congratulations on the birth of your 2 beautiful babies!!!! I'm so happy for you :) :) hope that you are ok and keep me updated would love to know how you delivered them xxxxx Hope they are ok and hope u r able to take them home soon xxx
The girls came home on 14th Feb, best valentines day ever! Can't believe they're 5wks old today. Sat here typing with 1 baby on my chest just nodded off & the other about to wake for a feed. I love it :o)
My waters broke about 6am so rang hospital who said to go straight in. Was 2cm dilated when I got there & within an hour I was 6cm so got sent straight to delivery suite. Gave birth naturally & the 2nd one was breech!!! Had spinal block & then epidural so wasn't too bad at all.
Sorry its been awhile so happy that both of your little girls are now at home with you!! Bet its the best thing ever :):)
I'm now 20wks &3days and found out that we are having 2 baby girls too!!!! had the anomoly scan 2day and both girls are perfect just one of the placentas is low so they will monitor that every time i go to see the consultant/scan - cause i have asked for a vaginal delivery if all ok i will have his around 38wks if ts a c-sec it will be 37wks.
Always been worried about an epidural but may have to have one either way i suppose when its all happening u dont really worry bout having a needle. But so glad your labour went ok xxxxx
They are such lovely names that you have chosen for both of your girls i'm getting so excited now half way there.
How heavy were your babies when they were born?? xx
Speak soon so gald they are at home with you and your doing so well!!!! take care.
I had ET on Friday they got 20 eggs couldn't believe it ..
15 fertilised which we were really happy about
So today we went bac for the ET ,went really well they asked us this time
How many we would like put bac 1 or 2 we chose 2 ofcourse:-)
(we weren't given a choice the last time they just put 2 bac))
So now it's just a waiting game again
Can't believe you're over halfway there already!!! How time flies lol!
Glad to hear all is well & can't believe you're having 2 baby girls as well. Have you thought of any names yet?
One piece of advice I'll give you is to have your hospital bag packed early (week 30 should do it) just in case! With regards to the epidural, its nothing to worry about. I didn't even see the needle or feel it going in. Its just a bit uncomfortable as you have to stay really still when they do it & its a bit hard when you're in the middle of a contraction.
Abby weighed 4lb 12oz & Liza was 4lb 13oz. All the Dr's were amazed at their weights considering they were so early & everyone comments on how big they would have been had I gone full term!!
