Hi angel, firstly congrats on yr BFP! How u feeling?

I was very lucky, this is our first icsi and I got my BFP officially on 26th march, although I was naughty and tested early. I am due 29th november. I'm only 5 1/2 weeks but i have nausea which comes and goes and I'm bone tired! I have done lots of tests too. I already have 3 girls, conceived naturally, so I've never worried like this before. My clinic make u wait til 8 wks for yr scan so the nausea Is quite comforting for cuz it let's me know everyrhing is still ok in there, do u feel the same?

Good luck with yr scan today I'm sure everything will be fine :)

Hi ladies!!!

Congrats to you both on your BFP's!!! GREAT NEWS!!

Angel sorry to hear of your losses. Your miscarriageon xmas day must have been so hard. 5th time lucky for you :-) How did your scan go hun???

Jenny congrats too! All your symptoms sound fab, even thgouh you prob feel rubbish, but all good signs!! The wait for the first scan is so hard isnt it!!!

Well, I am currently 9 weeks pregnant and due 5th november!!!

This was my 5th IVF cycle- 1st ended in early miscarriage, 2nd BFP and went into premature labour at 21 weeks and had our beautiful baby boy Oliver but he was obviously too young to survive :-(, 3rd was early miscarriage and 4th BFN, so hoping this is the one!!!

I had my 7 week scan and heartbeat was there and everything looked great!!! Im having a scan tomorrow at 9 weeks and cant wait to see our little baby again, should be some movement at this stage so cant wait.

Finding it hard to get too excited after having so much dissapointment before but trying to stay positive!

Lots of love and luck to you both xxxx

Danielle,
I am 9 weeks along also and am due November 7th. We are very close in dates! How did your scan go?

Angel,
How was your scan? Congrats on the BFP! I hated to hear of your ups and downs with fertility.

Jenny,
I, too, feel nauseous. It started at 5 weeks just like you!

This is my 2nd round of IVF/ICSI. I had 7 IUI's prior to that. Six IUI's with a BFN, 1 with a BFP that resulted in a m/c at 6 weeks. Our first IVF resulted in a BFP and the birth of my sweet baby girl (17 months). We had no embryos to freeze so we had to start over. Our second IVF has resulted in a BFP and I'm trying every day not to freak out about something going wrong.

I hope to hear updates from you all soon!

Judy

Hi ladies!!!!!

Well I had my 9 week scan and was amazing!!! Baby looking like a baby now ha and moving around all over the place! I'm 10 weeks now,my next scan is 30th April and feels like that is a lifetime away even though it's only 3 weeks!
I have the same midwife as I did when I had Oliver at 21 weeks so is really looking after me and has referred me to see a consultant to make sure I'm getting lots of extra support so that's good.

Don't think I'll settle until I get to 24 weeks this time,and even then I probably won't!!!

Let's hope November is here before we know it for all out sakes :-)

Judy lovely to have you with us. Congrats on your bfp! Lovely that we are so close with dates! Has your sickness calmed down yet? Mine has,I just feel so shattered all the time still. I've had to buy some new clothes already just comfy things I can wear mainly with leggins because my size 8 bits are getting a bit tight already!!!

Angel so glad your scan went well!!! When is your next appointment then? It's funny isn't it because we all feel really poorly but are so glad we do ha! I know what you mean about the time dragging, feels like forever doesn't it!

I have managed to keep our news to just us and immediate family and it's getting harder the further on it gets!!!!

Hope you are all doing well!

Lots of positive vibes sent to you all and our little november babies :-)

Hi Danielle,

Glad its going well..... Got signed off from Fertility ward last monday and they said ring docs etc to get the ball rolling! well tuesday morning at 8am before even thinking about it the docs rang me! ha said to the lady how the hell did she know and she couldn't answer it! so they said have to reg with sure start centre on mondays and typically today is a bank hol so have to go next week.... so will be 9+3 by then.... hoping the midwife does the same for me given my 24 week twins etc.... and the original doc didnt want to do Ovulation induction cos of risk of twins and she said even with one I would most likely have prem again! so I am hoping they see me regularly but I wont give them much choice! not taking any risks this time!!!

I'm the same with the clothes already! maybe the pessaries making bloated etc too

We havent told anyone either because of MC at Christmas so not tempting fate :)

I am desperte for another scan!

Don't forget the Vitamins and sleep x x x x

Hi girls!
I am still nauseous off and on throughout the day but like you both have said...it makes me feel like everything is okay. I can't fit into my clothes already too! I just broke down and got out my maternity clothes. On Easter Sunday we told my large family our news. A lot of my co-workers already knew because it's hard to hide that you are out so much going through the IVF process. I am a kindergarten teacher (ages 5-6).
I have a 10 week scan tomorrow and can't wait! If all is well, we will be released from the fertility clinic. My first appointment at the OB/GYN is 26th April.
I am so glad to hear that everyone is doing well!!!!!

Talk to you soon!

Judy

Hiya girls,

Hope your both ok.

Eeee you know what I just can't stop eating!i wasn't like this last time but cos I'm getting a bit bigger it's getting harder to hide god knows what I'll be like In a few weeks!

Angel I know hun hopefully they will understand how nervous we are this time. My midwife isn't seeing me now though until 16 weeks and don't have my scan until 13 weeks and have Been signed off from ivf clinic so feel a bit like I'm left now for a while which makes me nervous
How's you both feeling? I'm so tired!!!

Judy good luck for your scan tomorrow!!! Let us know how it goes! So exciting! Little one will be moving around all over the place by now so will be lovely to see.

Lot of love to you all xxx

Danielle,
I am also eating much more than usual. I think it's because I feel so nauseous off and on throughout the day and have this notion that eating will make it better. I also find that drinking a glass of milk helps with my nausea. Strange I know! I had a week off work last week so I am tired getting back into the groove. I teach 5 and 6 year olds all day! :)
Anyway, I'm excited and anxious about tomorrow's scan. Of course, I always worry about anything going wrong. I truly believe that women going through IVF have more worries than other women TTC.

Talk to you soon!

Love,
Judy

Hi ladies, so good to hear from all of u. Hi from the other page Judy :) how are all u ladies doing? Good luck with yr scan today Judy, everyrhing will be just fine. You are right though, us assisted conception ladies do have more worries. I can speak from both sides after conceiving 3 little girls naturally now going through this journey. I guess I took it for granted that everything was ok and I would be taking a baby home at the end of it all, but I had no reason not to think that. I'm sure this time will be ok too, 8 more sleeps and I get to see the heartbeat.
Danielle, that's a bit rubbish about the midwife! I know they are down in numbers but they really should be more caring after what you have been through before. Hopefully 10 week scan will settle u a bit and u can always call the hospital and talk to a duty midwife to ease yr concerns if u have any :)
With the clothes being tight, is anyone on utrogestan pessaries? I found i was starting the day looking normal and by bed time (8pm lol ) I was looking 5 months preg. Anyway, I started sucking on 1 rennie after every meal to ease the heartburn and its really helped. I go to bed pretty much the same size as I woke up! Any symptoms but tiredness seem to have dwindled, I get a big wave of nausea perhaps twice a day but am not actually sick. Just appoint tired!. 7 weeks tomorrow......is it dragging for everybody else too?x x
