Does anyone know who is with the Bridge in London,
if this clinic would go ahead with ivf ,with fsh readings above 10?
My readings are between 11- 13 ,
I am with a small IVF clinic, and everytime they tell me I cannot start ivf because my readings are too high,
they want it to be under 10.
I feel frustrated as I am waiting now almost for a half year to start ivf at this clinic.
In the mean time I am paying so much for blood tests and scans ,I wonder if I am at the wrong clinic.
I am reading online lots of woman that start ivf with similar fsh readings as mine ,so there must be clinics going ahead with ivf with fsh readings above 10.
If I change clinic then I want to go to the Bridge in London,(or the lister has been advised to me aswel)
Please can anyone advise me?
My collegue says he knows lots of people going through IVF at the Bridge, who are of similar age as me(I am 41,and 42 in september),so surely they must have kind of similar fsh readings as me.
Hi would recommend you find one that wii treat you. There are many but not sure in London. My first fsh was 6 and had successful ICSI 2 nd time around at 36. Went for no 2 and fsh had increased to 14.8. Was told I would need ICSI for child no 2. Had failed cycle but got pregnant the month after ICSI. At 40, have got preggers naturally with child no 3 at 40. Baby due in 6 weeks and will be 41.
How you respond is only reall clear when you undergo ivf but some clinics want good stats. My clinic said they prefer fsh below 10 but would treat up to fsh of 20 before recommending trying donor eggs.
It seems like you could start icsi with an fsh of 14.8 aswel .
It means then that there are clinics treating persons for ivf or icsi above a 10 fsh level .
I think you are right saying that clinics just want to keep their succes rates up,by not starting ivf above a certain level of fsh.
I do believe that I could had started ivf already a while ago, with the fsh readings I had,but in a different clinic.
I think I stick for now to the clinic where I am ,for a little bit longer(just in case I am lucky these coming cycles, if fsh is lower,to start finally ivf.)
Otherwise I go to try The Bridge in London, they did wanted to offer me a consultation, and I did mention my latest fsh readings aswel(but I still don't know
if they actually start Ivf above fsh of 10).
I do feel like I might have more luck at The Bridge .
Hopefully someone reads this ,and can advise me further about the fsh policy at the Bridge in London after which fsh reading they agree to start ivf, please ?
I just feel worried to have to go all overnew with consultation etc, tests as I have to pay everything myself etc(but at least I can take previous test results with me ).
I read online people taking Agnus castus to lower fsh levels,so I definately go to try this,if it can't do harm,it's still worth trying.
It is good to hear positive stories, like yours,
good luck with your pregnancy.

Hi ladys I'm new here . I am on 4 IVF/ICSI ,
Im 39, have endo level IV, tubal issues, HIGH FSH so we changed clinics ,but the 2 refused to treat me anymore ,.. so we moved on to DE. I was so used to the doom and gloom and all the BFN's ...so I thought trying DE is better than nothing and giving up hope.
on 6 June 2012 Had a 5 day transfer of 3 embryo's, 2 blast and 1 mor. (in Spain)
I am on the 2WW and my blood test is going to be on 15 June 2012 but I have to say I have never been so scared to test before .Hopefully DE/IVF will do the trick and give us a baby
Lots and Lots of BABY DUST to all and don't give up
Exciting, while you are waiting for the count down to test ,I wish you best luck!
Which clinic are you with in Spain? And is this arranged
via a clinic here in England? How much did you spend for this circa at this clinic? I am not sure How much more it costs for DE.
don't worry if you don't want to mention prices,I am just curious,
as if I am getting stuck because of my fsh readings,
then no doubt I would go for this option aswel.
Also when you were still trying at the previous 2 clinics,
what were your highest fsh results that the clinic agreed with to do ivf?
Hope you have some good news soon.
I think as long we all keep trying we will get there in the end,
and have our baby in our arms one day.
Best wishes
