Hi Everyone - I am new here :) I am 38 years old and DH and I have been TTC for 3 years now. Diagnosis is unexplained as everything has come back normal for both of us from all the tests we have had so far....

Yesterday we were referred on for IVF treatment - we live in Surrey UK and are lucky enough to have been offered 2 rounds of IVF to be funded by the NHS.

We have a choice of 2 clinics we can go to and I wondered if some of you might be able to share your advice on what criteria we should be considering with regards to selecting the best clinic for our treatment. I think there might be more to it than just the published success rates on the web so wanted to pick your brains. How did you choose where to go?

Its mind boggling when trying to choose a clinic, but after looking at all the stats, my dh and I made appointments to visit a couple of the clinics to look around and then we went on how comfortable we felt in each one. Not the most scientific way but it helped us. The clinic could have the best reputation in the world but if you dont feel comfy while you in there thats not going to be good for you in the long run, this process is stressful enough without you feeling uncomfortable in your clinic.
