Iam new to this forum and this is my first fertility treatment; so quite confused and stressed about it....any comments/inputs would be of great help.
I have been TTC for 4 yrs now. Even before marriage, I was taking merformin/a pill named susten for polycystic ovaries.
I was put on clomid for 6 cycles but I didn’t conceive(Frankly speaking my husband was travellign during that period, so we couldn’t try much).
I was then put again on metformin and was off pills for 2 yrs. Then again, I had a huge ovarian cyst/endometriosis in my right ovary for which I had laproscopy last December.
My doc asked me to take clomid for 3 months from april and Iam on my last cycle now.
I have an appointment for IVF through NHS in Chelsfield park hospital under Dr.Reid and would be going for an initial scan on 13th July.
But, my husband has gone through some reviews and prefers to go to ARGC-Dr.Tarnissi’s clinic although it is private.
Iam quite confused as NHS has funded me 2 free cycles. But, my husband still wants to go for ARGC due to success rates.
Can anyone please tell me your experiences with ARGC or Chelsfield park hospital which can give me an idea….please let me know on whatever you feel..
